Question: How did the Lucky 27 Barbershop & Social Club come into being?
Answer: My family has been in the business for four generations in New York and my aunt decided to surprise her husband with a shop of his own called the “Lucky 27” after he retired from the NHL. He wore jersey No. 27 during his time with the Stanley Cup Colorado Avalanche team.
So, when they decided to expand into Fort Collins my Uncle (Scott Parker) offered me an opportunity I could not refuse. My shop is called “Sammie’s Lucky 27.”…
