AACS hosted its annual convention in Phoenix, Arizona with multiple events related to enhancing schools and motivating educators. This event brings together more than 400 school administrators, directors and industry professionals that help you stay “ahead of the class” on legal and legislative issues, educational policy, governance strategies, finance issues, product knowledge and technological innovations in the field of education.
The classes, expo hall and social events I attended, made this event a remarkable experience. AACS is a great place to network and learn from others in the industry. Industry experts from Bloom.com, Beauty Changes Lives and Bronner Brothers shared with me their insight on supporting schools.Content specific to the beauty industry offer all members of your staff interactive training from leading industry experts and peers. Nationally recognized speaker, stylist, educator and entrepreneur Paul J. DiGrigoli motivated us during the President’s Breakfast hosted by Shark Fin.

According to the AACS, their shows are not typical beauty shows. Education is offered at various times throughout the day, with vendor-specific hours for attendees to visit your booth. As an exhibitor you are able to take advantage of “off-time” at events to sit in on classes, set up meetings and learn more about the school industry. The education market is bursting with new products driven, in part, by The American Association of Cosmetology Schools. Plan your year now to get more involved with this association. Bring your professional team to rejuvenate and recognize the impact they make in your school and your students’ lives. Don’t miss your chance to meet emerging businesses and take home ideas you won’t see anywhere else!

The American Association of Cosmetology Schools believe in helping you succeed, and the best way to meet with school members is by coming to an event and building personal relationships.
