New barber school starting at Cape Fear Comm. College

Beginning on Jan. 14, CFCC’s barber school program will provide students with the skills to become a professional barber. Over the course of 12-14 months, classes will prepare students for the North Carolina Board Exam which will result in an apprentice license. Upon completion of the program, successful graduates will be qualified to work in an entry level position in a professional barbershop.

The program will be a combination of traditional lecture and hands-on training which will be held in a barbershop setting located at Emerald Square on Wrightsville Ave.
