Rare (and Expensive) Barbershop Artifacts Stolen from Unique “Barbershop Museum”

Our hearts go out to Barber Jon’s Barber Shop in El Dorado, CA where valuable barbering artifacts (some hundred of years old) were stolen.

Tens of thousands of dollars worth of collectibles were stolen from an El Dorado County museum and barber shop early Wednesday morning. Barber Jon’s Barber Shop, billed an El Dorado County’s “only sideshow of curiosities and oddities,” was broken into between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. Barber Jon said 70 straight edge razors and shaving mugs from the 1800s were taken, while some razors and clippers were left behind.
