Dayton cops arrest man linked to drugs, gun, cash in barbershop

Dayton police arrested a man on Friday who allegedly kept tens of thousands of dollars worth of drugs and cash in his car and the barbershop where he worked.
David Jackson, 36, was arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking, possession of drugs and illegal possession of a firearm. Investigators found more than $38,00 in cash and about $22,000 worth of heroin that they said belonged to Jackson. He was also in possession of smaller amounts of marijuana, crack cocaine and pills, according to police.
Police received a telephone report of suspicious individuals and perhaps drug activity behind the Top of the Line Barber and Beauty Shop at 2836 Salem Ave. Officers would eventually pull over a vehicle belonging to Jackson for illegal window tint as he drove toward Parkhill Drive. The vehicle was seen at the shop, according to the caller. (Full Story)
