(Charleston, SC) Antwone Smith, 26, of Walnut Street surrendered to Charleston police Friday and was charged with first-degree assault and battery, according to police spokesman Charles Francis.
Police say Bernard Blunt of Hanover Street was inside Top of the Line barbershop at 75 Columbus St. about 12:30 p.m. Jan. 7 when Smith walked in and asked him to step outside. Blunt told police the two men started arguing over a woman and Smith shot him twice in the buttocks.
