(San Francisco, California) Randy Tagle is not just a talented barber, he’s an advocate for a community of influential and creative barbers in the Bay Area. While Los Angeles is known around the world for its community of talented barbers and influential barbershops – the San Francisco Bay Area has not received the same kind of fame.
The Bay Area Barber BrotherHood (BABB), was created in an effort to showcase the hidden gem of barbers that the Bay Area has cultivated. Randy Tagle is the President of the B.A.B.B. and holds events – like the one displayed in the video below – to unify the talent in Northern California.
With over 10 years of experience, Randy’s mission, outside of his own barber aspirations, is to put the Bay Area on the map. He develops online tutorials for those aspiring and experienced barbers. When asked how his video differs from the millions of tutorials already online, he states his videos give the viewer a clear, step-by-step instructional view of how to master a specific cut or style. Most videos will fast forward or skip certain basic principals to shorten the viewing time of the video, but his videos are true tutorials and will make you feel like you are truly shadowing Randy at his barber chair.
