(Suffolk, Virginia) Cut In His Image Barbershop is much more than a place where you can get your weekly shape-up. This barbershop’s foundation is focused on Christian ministry and helping those in the community to improve their quality of life. Offering mentoring programs, tutoring, community service, charity and family activities based upon the common belief of spirituality.
Cut In His Image Barbershop teamed up with the Salvation Army to bring together established men and women of the community to provide advice to a group of young ladies and young gentlemen. This day was filled of activities that may seem unassuming but address a real lack within the community. Mentors taught kids lessons on hygiene, etiquette and how to properly tie a tie. A trip to the mall for clothes boosted their self image and haircuts got them looking fly…!
Barbershops are an integral part of the community – so, it is inspiring when establishments like Cut In His Image Barbershop demonstrates its value within the community to “pay it forward”.
