The title of the video says it all: A Quad City barber’s haircut earns him free Kentucky Fried Chicken for life!
Miguel Rosas has always loved to cut hair. When he was thirteen years old he started cutting his own hair, then his friends’ hair, until he attended barber college and opened The New Style Barber Shop in 2007. But designs are his real claim to fame.
Rosas recently shaved and painted the renowned Colonel Sanders logo in the back of a client’s head before heading to the nearest Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant. Obviously people took notice, and that night Rosas received a call from a KFC district manager who wanted to see the design in person.
The next day Rosas showed the manager, who proceeded to give him a stack of free KFC meal tickets. “He told me when I run out to call him and he would get me more,” Rosas laughed.
Free KFC for life? It’s like a Cinderella story… but for hair!
