Alsmillions shares his best way to cuts waves. He shared his tip of the week, which included how to make waves pop.
According to Al, to cut waves, barbers should start high first and then cut low. If the client wants a 1A, start with 1 ½ first, going with the grain, and then cut with 1A to smooth. This prevents gaps in the hair. Al also suggests using a #1 guar to make sure that no hair is sticking up.
