Carlos Guerrero: Freestyle Master

Carlos hails from Lima, Peru and originally caught our eye with this haircut he crafted with fellow tattoo artist Juan Carlos (aka: @jcalexis08)

The gorrilla face (by Juan) is flawless. But it’s the strong abstract patterns (created by Carlos G.) that frame the face and make the haircut “pop”.
Carlos is a Freestyle/Abstract Master. His lines are strong, yet “wavy”. Also, his lines STAY strong at every point in each pattern.

It’s this whimsical, almost surrealistic Freestyle flow that is the signature of Carlos’ style.
Carlos has mastered the straight-razor to create VERY wavy curves and shapes that – at the same time – look natural, strong and solid.

Going beyond the razor, Carlos shows great skill with the clippers… We came across these haircuts that integrate razor-work with advanced shading techniques.
