By now, you probably know that Bronner Brothers is hosting its 2014 International Hair Show this weekend.
But, did you know that BARBinc’s own Tamika Day is participating in a Ford-sponsored industry panel discussion…?
Thought not…!
This year’s theme for the 2014 Bronner Bros. International Hair Show is “Happy Hair,” which aligns with the focus of Ford’s panel discussion; “The Business of Natural Hair: Changing Landscape or Trend..?” being held on Sunday (Aug-03) from 12 Noon to 1:30pm.
Major sponsors like Ford realize that Natural Hair is becoming less of a “fad/trend” and more of a established lifestyle for the African American Community. It was recently reported that the number of chemical relaxers sales has declined. As well, celebrities such as Hip-Hop Superstar Nicki Minaj and Actress Gabrielle Union are taking to their social media sites to show off their natural hair.

Tamika, owner of the Atlanta-based Hair University Salon and a 2013 Ford “Top-Ten Stylist”, will be joined by other industry veterans including Jane Carter of JaneCarterSolutions.com and Lexi of LexiWithTheCurls.com. The panel will speak on the business and buzz of natural hair and will hold a private networking session afterwards.
But… be sure to get to the discussion early. The private networking session will only be open to the first 40 attendees…!
