(Victoria, British Columbia, Canada) As children, our books had the ability to captivate our minds and opened ourselves to previously unknown truths. As adults, we are able to move beyond the printed word to find brilliant and inspiring stories in real life.
Matthew Conrad, owner of Victory Barber & Brand, was inspired by a story told to him by one of his clients. As a barber, Matthew hears countless stories – some funny, others sad and some that inspire you to be a better version of yourself.
But the tale of two individuals (Tracy & Heather) and an amazing outreach facility that serves the homeless population in British Columbia (Our Place) inspired Matthew to create a story of his own. In this beautiful, almost cinematic video, Matthew shares a beautiful story with a moral as told by Matthew’s grandfather:
“You didn’t need to go out into the world and solve everyone’s problems – you just have to do the best that you could, with whatever came your way.”
