Sureshj Thakur describes his career choice as not much of a choice at all, but as a means of survival in a society still restricted by a caste system. Nonetheless, he takes an astounding amount of pride and reverence in his work and the happiness of his customers. He goes as far as saying the barbershop is his religion and therefore he dedicates himself to all its practices.
