“Barber Life” barber Ignacio Gonzalez delivers one of the best 5-minute tutorials that we’ve seen in a while. Although this is a “home-grown” video, what makes it excellent is Ignacio’s laser-like focus on one specific technique, the high taper fade along the front of a customer’s scalp.
Close camera work gives a clear demonstration of the technique (although some footage is out of focus for a few seconds). Also, Ignacio smartly narrates each step at an easy pace and makes sure to shout-out the tools used at each/every moment. Although the video lacks overlay text and other “special effects”, you really can’t ask for a better video tutorial than this.
