Run by 90-year old Frank Anello, this barbershop should be considered a national (barbershop) treasure..!
Bill Hagan’s first haircut 75 years ago must have been a good one.
The 80-year-old Gloucester City man keeps coming back to Anello’s Barbershop for a cut that hasn’t changed much since he was 5.
"I always came here," Hagan said in the barber chair as Gloucester City shop owner Frank Anello, 90, clipped away white strands. "I learned on guys like him. He’s still got his ears," Anello chimed in.
The barbershop is the oldest in the city. His father Ralph opened it in 1924, the year Anello was born.
