Andis Platform Educator and co-founder of “Clipper Education, Tone McGill discusses his participation in this year’s #BronnerBrothers 2015 Mid-Winter show and the Andis Total Look Barbering competition.
Tone: Well since 2005 I have been one of the Lead Platform Educators for the Andis Company and will be returning as such, as well as teaching a clipper education class. I will also be co-hosting the Andis Total Look Barbering competition, alongside Kenny Duncan and Aileen Nunez.
Tone: The competition is a total look competition, so everything from the haircut, the clothes, the costume, the colors, the accessories – should all come together into one cohesive look. As always we’re looking for contestants to step outside the box. We’re looking for creativity, nothing that has been copied from social media or is very traditional. We want contestants to dig deep and show their creative side.
Tone: As always I’m looking forward to seeing and interacting with the students and professionals that come to the Andis booth and share their insights, their experiences either with the product or techniques that they have seen me use. Being able to interact and teach every year is always a highlight.
