The Mad Barber got a blast-from-the-past surprise when he was gifted this vintage 1939 Schick Dry Shaver. Considered the modern electric shaver (for it’s time), this machine provided a great convenience to the working man. Though no longer in production, this dry shaver paved the way for current models such as the Andis trimmers, Andis T-Outliner, Norelco, etc.
Sold for $12.50 back in 1939, The Mad Barber demonstrates how to operate his Schick Dry Shaver (still fully operationally after all these years) and provides more historical facts surrounding this vintage piece.
