#BeautyChangesLives Scholarship Spotlight – Ihotu Ali

“BeautyChangesLives.org” is a non-profit initiative designed to raise awareness for the haircare industry by showing how our industry has a huge, positive impact on individuals and society as a whole… The organization is supported by a number of beauty professionals, product manufacturers, celebrities and philanthropies (i.e. – they’re the real deal…)

BCL primarily acts through scholarships for deserving young professionals. To win a scholarship, applicants must write and essay or record a video describing themselves and their goals. And curiously enough, each winning entry (either and essay or video) is posted on the organization’s website.

We at BARBinc wanted to showcase a few scholarship recipients to help inspire the next round of contestants. So today, we’re putting the spotlight on Ms. Ihotu Ali. Ms. Ali was the winner of BCL Massage Therapy Education Scholarship this past Spring 2014.
