Beauty Changes Lives scholarship season is well under way; and to help inspire prospective applicants with their submission process, BARBinc is highlighting some of the organization’s 2014 winners.
Lindsey Washbourne, winner of the Fall 2014 BCL Vidal Sassoon Professional Beauty Education Advanced scholarship, chose a unique representation to display her creativity. Her description (noted below), truly represents the marriage of a well structured haircut and high fashion, given that the shape is ordinarily found in men’s grooming.
Androgyny meets glamorous sophistication, blurring the lines of gender with shape and a juxtaposition clash of conflicting tone.
Interested in applying for Beauty Changes Lives’s Vidal Sassoon Professional Beauty Education Advanced Program Scholarship? Deadline for submissions is April 13, 2015.
“BeautyChangesLives.org” is a non-profit initiative designed to raise awareness for the haircare industry by showing how our industry has a huge, positive impact on individuals and society as a whole. The organization is supported by a number of beauty professionals, product manufacturers, celebrities and philanthropies; and primarily acts through scholarships which are awarded to deserving young professionals.
